Darryl Chu

As VP of Finance, Darryl is responsible for guiding strategic financial decisions at AlphaFlow and overseeing financial management functions including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury and tax.

Prior to joining AlphaFlow, Darryl was the Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer at Shellpoint Partners LLC, a leading national mortgage originator and servicer. During a period of rapid growth, Darryl was responsible for expanding Shellpoint’s mortgage origination capabilities by increasing access to liquidity by over $3 billion while decreasing cost of funds. Throughout his 20+ year career, he has led finance transformation initiatives, maximizing department efficiency through in-house developed automation and implementing third-party ERP systems.

Darryl began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers followed by Deloitte, serving financial services clients in assurance and advisory. Darryl has a BA in English Literature from the University of British Columbia and a DPA in Chartered Accounting from McGill University.

Darryl grew up in Vancouver, Canada and now calls New York home. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling the world and is an avid ice hockey fan.
