David Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David began their career in 1987 working in Procurement at NASA's John H. Glenn Research Center. From there, they moved on to Quality Metalcraft in 1991, where they served as a Manufacturing Systems Manager, overseeing IT, Production Control, Receiving, and Billing departments. During their time at Quality Metalcraft, they played a key role in restructuring the organization and implementing a new business system. In 1996, they joined The Alpha Group as the VP of Marketing, where they worked closely with the President and VP of Sales to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies. David also established corporate identity and tailored marketing programs for the operating divisions and the parent group. Since 2004, David has been with AlphaUSA, working as the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, they have provided operational leadership, supported strategic planning and development, and overseen various departments such as Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Quality Systems, and Labor Relations.

David Lawrence completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of Detroit Mercy, attending from 1985 to 1990. David then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Systems from the same university, attending from 1991 to 1992. In 2004, they enrolled at Oakland University, where they completed a Master's degree in Human Resources Management, which lasted from 2004 to 2006.
