Jordi Gaya

Jordi Gaya's work experience includes various roles in finance and accounting. Jordi started their career as an Audit Intern at Deloitte in 2014, where they performed reviews of audit documents and applied concepts of risk assessment. Jordi then transitioned to the role of Co-Organizer & Executive Producer at TEDxUPFMataró, where they managed the executive team, oversaw production and planning for events, and handled day-of logistics. Gaya later returned to Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance Assistant, focusing on industries such as real estate, automotive, and health. Jordi then progressed to the position of Audit & Assurance Senior, working with a wide range of sectors including real estate, bio-tech, public sector, logistics, FMCG, food industry, and automotive. In 2018, Gaya joined Sysco as a Financial Controller, responsible for financial statements, cost analysis, working capital, and other financial tasks. Jordi then worked as a Financial Controller at GJM Group (Amphenol Corporation) before their current role as the Head of Finance and Back Office - Philippines Branch at Alsina Formwork.

Jordi Gaya obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Innovation Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2015. Jordi also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Management and Information Technology from HOGENT in 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Management and Audit at UPF Barcelona School of Management from 2015 to 2018. In 2021, Jordi Gaya joined Universitat Oberta de Catalunya for a Specialization in Data Literacy, which they completed in 2021. Jordi is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Intelligence and Big Data Analytics at the same institution, with an expected completion year of 2023.
