Sofia Giampaoli

Sofia Giampaoli is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in the biotechnology and food technology sectors. As the Founder of Alt Atlas since November 2021, Sofia manages overall operations, technology strategy, and fundraising, capitalizing on a robust network of industry professionals. Previously, Sofia founded and served as CEO of Cell Farm from February 2019 to April 2021, focusing on developing a sustainable food system through cell biology. Sofia's background includes roles at PepsiCo as a Regional Productivity Engineer, where a five-year productivity plan was defined for Latin America, and at ISOLUX CORSAN as a Process Engineer, responsible for engineering documentation and project evaluations. Earlier career experiences include positions at Siegwerk and the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires. Sofia holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering and an Executive MBA from EOI Business School.
