Edward Mayberry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Edward most recently worked at Altana Technologies as the Director of Governance Risk and Compliance, where they were responsible for ensuring the safety and sustainability of global supply chains through the use of AI technology. Prior to that, they held various roles at Diligent, including Senior Staff Security Analyst and Senior Security Specialist. Edward also worked at Galvanize (now Diligent) as a Government Compliance Senior Specialist.

In 2019, Edward attended the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy, where they obtained an entry-level FAC-P/PM degree in Project Management. Additionally, they attended the Defense Acquisition University in the same year to gain continuing learning points (CLP) in the field of Risk Management Framework for the Practitioner.

In 2019, Edward participated in a PMI CAPM Bootcamp at New Horizons, focusing on Project Management. Edward also obtained a certification in Cyber Risk Management for Technicians from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the same year.

Additionally, Edward earned certifications outside of their formal education. In December 2019, they completed the "Data Science: R Basics" course offered by HarvardX, an online learning initiative by Harvard University through edX. Edward also earned the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification from (ISC)² in August 2020. Furthermore, Edward obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2019, and the CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) certification from CompTIA in November 2019.
