Masood Z. has over 17 years of work experience in the field of technology and computing. Masood began their career as a Junior Systems Administrator at Hytech System Solutions in 2005, where they provided support for Windows Server and Linux. Masood then joined American Home Mortgage in 2008 as a Software Support Specialist, providing day-to-day support to loan officers with software-related issues.

In 2010, Masood joined CompuCom @ Intel as a Data Center Hosting Server Operations Level 4 Tech, supporting Intel's production and pre-production sites with over 4000+ servers. Masood later became the Technical Lead (SME) for Data Center Hosting Server Operations, where they acted as the point of contact for Linux in production and development.

In 2021, Masood joined Invitae as a Systems Engineer HPC Infrastructure Operations, focusing on automation and support of HPC and Linux-based environments.

Currently, Masood is the Director of Scientific Computing at Altius Institute for Biomedical Sciences, where they oversee scientific computing operations and high-performance computing management.
