Matt Kane

Matt Kane serves as the Senior Director and Deputy General Counsel at NJOY, where responsibilities include providing strategic business and legal advice in a regulated industry, managing cross-functional teams, and negotiating complex agreements. Previously, Matt was the General Counsel at Anomaly, supporting a global advertising agency with extensive legal guidance. Matt also worked as a Senior Associate at Reed Smith LLP, focusing on advertising, media, and corporate law while being active in pro bono initiatives. Early in Matt's career, roles included Digital Media Planner at Spark Foundry and Assistant to Talent Manager at Management 360, with foundational experiences at United Talent Agency. Matt holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and an Executive MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Northwestern University.
