Ashley Bruyns

Ashley Bruyns has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ashley has held various roles at different companies, showcasing their expertise in engineering, solutions, application development, systems analysis, and database architecture. Ashley has worked at Altron Systems Integration since 2013, where they currently serve as the Head of Engineering. Prior to that, they held positions at VOSS, Altech Isis, National Bargaining Council Clothing Industry, and Health Focus. Their responsibilities have included database design, development, documentation, system maintenance, and software development using various programming languages and technologies such as Python, Perl, Postgres SQL, Sybase PowerBuilder, and Borland Delphi.

Ashley Bruyns holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology, which was obtained from Cape Peninsula University of Technology / Cape Technikon in 2004. Prior to this, Ashley also completed a National Diploma in Information Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, spanning from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, Ashley has obtained several certifications, including Associate Pre-Sales Certification and Associate Reactive Developer Certification from OutSystems in 2023, the Modernize Applications with IBM CICS certification from IBM in 2021, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in 2021, the SMDP certification from USB Executive Development (Pty) Ltd in 2018, the Systems Engineering certification from Stellenbosch University - Faculty of Engineering in 2017, and the Diploma in Business Analysis from Faculty Training Institute in 2015.
