Other roles in Darryl's career include Wireless Server Developer at Altarus Corporation from November 2001 to April 2003, Lead Software Engineer (Contract) at Keyware Technologies from January 2001 to November 2001, and Software Engineer at Riverbed Technologies/Aether Software from May 1999 to January 2001.

Darryl's early career included a role as an Associate Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin from May 1998 to May 1999. In this role, they were responsible for the implementation and installation of the Defense Message System.
