James B.

James B. has a diverse work experience. James began their career in 2014 as a Meter Technician for Fairfax Water, a summer college student employment program. In 2015, they returned to Fairfax Water as a Systems Specialist, operating largely autonomously with minimal supervision. In 2016, they worked as a Security Officer for PAE and a Systems Specialist for Fairfax Water. In 2018, they joined Altus Consulting Corporation as a Senior Data Scientist, Lead. In this role, they were forward-deployed OCONUS to the Middle East multiple times to support USG operations over the resettlement of special interest populations. James also provided data products, used full-stack development techniques to investigate, configure, and deliver dashboarding capabilities for enterprise-level customers, and employed data science techniques to develop, identify, process, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.

James B. began their educational journey in 2009 when they attended Chantilly High School. James then attended Oakton High School from 2010 to 2011, and the Virginia Governor's School for the Visual and Performing Arts from 2011 to 2011, where they studied Vocal Music. In 2013, James B. graduated from Fairfex Academy and obtained an Adobe Flash CS5 certification from Adobe. James then attended George Mason University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science. James continued their studies at George Mason University from 2019 to 2021, earning a Master of Science in Data Analytics Engineering.
