Michelle Zimmerman has extensive experience in compliance, quality, and safety management, currently serving as the Director of Compliance and Quality at Alvarado Street Bakery since June 1988. Responsibilities include creating and implementing comprehensive safety strategies, overseeing the SQF food safety management system, and managing the HACCP/HARPC program. Additional roles at Alvarado Street Bakery include Safety Specialist, where programs for worker safety were developed, and Plant Environmentalist, overseeing various aspects of quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Since May 1999, Michelle has also been a member of the Board of Directors and serves as Marketing Director at http design, where strategic promotion and distribution of ideas in the craft industry were essential. Previously, Michelle worked as a Designer for the American Art Clay Company from 2006 to 2014.
