Shankar Sripadham

Shankar Sripadham has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Shankar started their career as a Software Engineer at Comsat/Lockhead Martin Global Telecommunication in 2000. Shankar then worked as a Software Engineer at Eka Systems in 2001 and Spectral Dimensions in 2002. In 2003, they joined PCTEL as a Product Manager, where they achieved significant revenue growth and developed partnerships with key software vendors. Shankar also worked as a Senior Software Engineer/Architect, co-authoring a patent for an advanced drive-test and interference management solution.

In 2010, Shankar became a Project Manager at N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc, where they developed project requirements and customized warranty management solutions for a Canadian retailer. Shankar later joined Genesys as a Senior Product Manager & Technology Strategist, overseeing various aspects of product management and serving as the Product Manager for an outbound API.

From 2014 to 2019, Shankar worked at Ooyala as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they launched cross-platform services and led the company's OTT strategy, generating significant bookings. Shankar then joined Vimeo in 2019 as a Lead Product Manager, contributing to the growth of OTT subscribers and implementing improvements to monetization and analytics.

In 2019, Shankar also founded Namika iOS App, a platform for choosing Indian baby names. Currently, they are the Director of Product Management at Amagi Corporation, where they hold a leadership role in product development.

Shankar Sripadham completed their MBA degree from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they pursued an MS degree in EE (Wireless Communication) from Virginia Tech. Shankar Sripadham started their educational journey by obtaining a BS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology from 1993 to 1998.
