Daniel Tsai has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Daniel started their career as an intern at InterContinental Hotels Group in 2005. Daniel then worked at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, where they held roles as a F&B Management Trainee and later as a Recruitment Manager. Daniel joined Soho House & Co in 2013 and progressed to become a Recruitment and Talent Manager, Senior People & Development Manager, and Head of Recruitment. In 2018, they took a sabbatical in Japan before joining The Ned as the Head Of Human Resources in 2019. Daniel later served as the Human Resources Director at The NoMad Hotel London before taking on their current role as the Corporate Human Resources Director for EMEA & North America at AMAN in 2022.

Daniel Tsai has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Daniel also received a Grand Diplôme in French Cuisine and Pastry from Le Cordon Bleu Paris in 2002 to 2003. Moreover, they completed an MA degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Westminster in 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they hold an Ikebana Diploma in the English Course from the Ikenobo Central Training Institute- Ikenobo Headquarter in Kyoto.
