Avery Palay

Avery Palay is an experienced engineering manager currently leading a team at amaysim, where the focus is on delivering innovative solutions that empower customers with mobile freedom. Previously, from 2012 to 2020, Avery held the position of Technology Manager at Telstra, overseeing a portfolio of software development projects and managing a team of 65 engineers. Other roles include Technical Architect at p3ople4u, where leadership of an 8-member team focused on insurance technologies, and Lead for Web Development at Financial Times, driving the development of FT.com. With a solid foundation as a Software Engineer at GXS and Pointwest, Avery has progressively advanced through technical and leadership roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University, a Master of Science in Information Technology from Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from San Beda University.
