Anirudh Ravichandran

Anirudh Ravichandran is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon since February 2021, focusing on Generative Retrieval-Augmented Generation at scale using Large Language Models for query understanding and ranking. Prior to Amazon, Anirudh served as a Vice President and Applied Machine Learning Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from April 2019 to February 2021, where responsibilities included developing deep learning models for information retrieval and semantic search. Anirudh also held the position of Research Scientist at Arm from May 2018 to April 2019, conducting research on deep learning models for Automatic Speech Recognition and Natural Language Processing. Anirudh’s earlier experience includes a Deep Learning Internship at Bosch USA in the summer of 2017. Anirudh holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
