Uday Sangar is a seasoned product and tech leader at Amazon, currently serving as GM of Customer Value for Kindle and Print Books since July 2014, where Uday oversees global pricing, deals, and the purchase experience for the worldwide books business. Uday has successfully built customer engagement programs, including Kindle Rewards and Kindle Achievements, and previously launched Prime Reading, a flagship benefit for Kindle that enables Prime members to access a vast library of content. Uday's career at Amazon began with roles ranging from Senior Vendor Manager to MBA Summer Intern, contributing to significant cost savings and product expansions. Prior to Amazon, Uday held investment banking positions at The PrinceRidge Group and Royal Bank of Scotland, as well as a financial analyst role at Southern California Edison. Uday holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Business Economics from UCLA.
