Kevin Goncalves

Kevin Goncalves is a skilled biochemist with extensive experience in drug discovery and biophysical tool development. Currently serving as a Bioarchitect I at Amber Bio, Kevin applies expertise to investigate RNA editing mechanisms. Prior experience includes a Scientist I role at Sardona Therapeutics, where significant contributions included streamlining protein:RNA complex development for small molecule discovery. Kevin holds a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida. Early research roles encompassed the synthesis of antiviral drug candidates, development of assays, and innovative methodologies for peptide synthesis.
