Ferdinand Legros has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Ferdinand began their career as a firefighter with the Marseille Fire Battalion. In 2014, they took on a teaching assistant role in English at Classe Préparatoire Sainte Geneviève, and a Head of Business Development role at XProjets - Student technology advisory. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Data Scientist & Consulting Intern at The Boston Consulting Group, a Research Intern in Machine Learning at New York University, and a Research Intern in Machine Learning, Relevance team at LinkedIn. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Stanford University as a Research Assistant in Speech Processing, a Research Assistant in Computer Vision, and a Research Assistant in Artificial Intelligence applied to Healthcare. In 2018, they also worked as a X Machine Learning Resident at X, the moonshot factory. Since 2019, they have been a Sr. Research Scientist - Team Lead, Machine Perception and a Senior Research Scientist, Machine Perception at Ambient.ai.
Ferdinand Legros began their educational journey in 2010 when they obtained their Baccalauréat from Lycée Franklin - Saint Louis de Gonzague with a major in sciences. Ferdinand then attended Classe préparatoire Sainte Geneviève from 2011 to 2013, studying mathematics and physics. In 2013, they graduated from École Polytechnique with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Data Science. Finally, in 2016, they attended Stanford University and obtained an MS in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, which they completed in 2019.
