Eero Hakio

Eero Hakio has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Eero started their career as a Software Development Trainee at Tremedia Ky in 2011. Eero then worked as a Sales Consultant at Fonecta Oy from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Eero became an Entrepreneur and established their own company called Hakio Consulting, where they worked as an Ecommerce Consultant for Tampereen Varaosamyynti Oy and Kaidetukku.fi.

In 2017, Eero joined Digia Plc as a Software Developer, where they focused on developing Magento 1&2 backend and frontend, integrating Magento with ERP solutions, and managing releases. Eero later became a Technical Lead and was responsible for a team developing a large-scale eCommerce solution for Stockmann eCom. Eero worked on Magento and Microservices architecture and development, as well as modernizing frontend with Webpack and VueJS. Eero also served as a Lead Developer at Digia Plc, where they worked on e-commerce development with Magento and Microservices, technical and solution architecture design, and integrations with Omnichannel services.

Most recently, Eero joined Ambientia in 2020 as a Software Architect. Overall, their experience includes software development, sales consulting, entrepreneurship, and ecommerce consulting.

Eero Hakio attended Tampere College from 2008 to 2011, where they studied Information Technology. During the same period, they also attended Tampere Upper Secondary School for Adults, although the field of study is not specified. Additionally, Eero obtained various certifications throughout their career, including ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in March 2018, BigDev Certification from BigCommerce in November 2022, and Commercetools Associate Functional Architect from commercetools in June 2021.
