Jay Nelson is an experienced scientist specializing in biochemistry and pharmacology, with a significant background in assay development and cell culture. Currently serving as Scientist I and formerly as Associate Scientist at Ambrx since January 2016, Jay Nelson focuses on MSD assays for pharmacokinetic and bioanalytical work, along with support for research programs through ELISA assays and cell culture. Prior roles include Research Associate positions at Celgene and Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Senior Research Associate at Organovo, Inc., and Product Transfer Scientist at Invivoscribe, Inc. Jay Nelson has also contributed to assay design and evaluation for Janssen and has experience in microarray technologies at Johnson & Johnson.
