Måns Barsne

EVP, Chief Innovation Officer at Ambu

Måns Barsne is the EVP and Chief Innovation Officer at Ambu. Måns has held this position since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of R&D Neuroscience at Elekta Instrument AB from 1998 to 2015. Måns was also the Senior Technical Project Manager at St Jude Medical from 1993 to 1998.

Barsne has a long history of experience in the medical field, with a focus on research and product development. Måns has been instrumental in the development of various medical devices and software, including embedded HW & SW, electronics, dose planning SW, CBCT, and mechanical engineering. Måns has also worked on projects involving radiation physics.

Måns Barsne has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedizinische Technik from ETH Zürich, a Business Administration for graduate engineers part 2 in Strategic Marketing, Finance, and Business Development from the Stockholm School of Economics IFL Executive Education, a Business Administration for graduate engineers part 1 in finance from the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education, and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.

They are on a team with Thomas Schmidt - EVP, CFO, Henrik Ankjær - EVP, Global Operations. Måns Barsne reports to Britt Meelby Jensen, CEO.
