Waqas Akhtar

Waqas Akhtar has extensive work experience in business analytics and intelligence. Waqas started their career in 2001 as a Developer at Rambøll Danmark and later worked as a Developer (.NET) at NNIT from 2004 to 2006. Waqas then joined BearingPoint as a Senior Consultant/Manager from 2006 to 2009. After that, they worked as a Corporate Performance Management Consultant at Affecto from 2009 to 2010. Waqas then joined Deloitte Business Consulting as a Manager in CFO Services from 2010 to 2011. Waqas worked as a Corporate Performance Management Specialist at Saxo Bank from 2011 to 2013. Waqas then moved to ISS World Services as a Financial Systems Controller from 2013 to 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Business Intelligence Specialist at ISS World Services. Since 2018, they have been working at Ambu A/S as the Head of Business Analytics, leading a team of 11 specialists in providing data, analytics, and planning solutions using various tools.

Waqas Akhtar completed their Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Management Accounting & Process Management from Copenhagen Business School, from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued their B. Sc. Eng in Electronics & Computer Science from The Technical University of Denmark, from 1997 to 2002. Before their university education, they also attended Nørre Gymnasium from 1994 to 1997, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned.
