Sven Novak

Sven Novak has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sven currently works as the Director Global Indirect Procurement at Amer Sports Corporation, where they are responsible for building up the Indirect procurement department from scratch and implementing delegated procurement.

Prior to this, Sven held various roles at Delivery Hero, including Global Procurement Director for IT & Professional Services, where they expanded their responsibilities to include legal, consulting, HR, M&A, and finance consulting. Sven also served as the Global Director of IT Procurement, making significant contributions to profitability and introducing category management concepts.

Sven also worked at A1 Hrvatska d.o.o. as the Procurement & FM Director and Procurement Director, where they transformed and restructured the procurement and facility management functions. Additionally, they acted as a lead for the SAP S4 introduction and played a key role in the P2P process.

Earlier in their career, Sven held positions at Xellia Pharmaceuticals, Emerson Network Power, NetAkademija, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, CAC Central Europe, and Pučko otvoreno učilište Zagreb, gaining experience in procurement, business processes, operations, risk analysis, IT consulting, system administration, and teaching.

Sven Novak holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical, IT and Telecommunications from the University of Zagreb / Sveučilište u Zagrebu. Sven also has an MBA in Business Administration and Management from COTRUGLI Business School. Furthermore, they completed high school at XV. Gimnazija (MIOC) with a focus on IT & Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, Sven has obtained certifications in Advanced Negotiation Skills Training from Scotwork, GMP - Good manufacturing practice training - Pharmaceutical from SUPERA KVALITETA d.o.o., and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco.
