Sukhjeet Ahuja M.D., Mph

Sukhjeet Ahuja MD, MPH has a diverse background in health policy and quality, with experience in both the public and private sectors. Sukhjeet'smost recent position was as the Chief Health Policy and Quality Officer at the American Academy of Neurology, where they provided leadership and strategic oversight for the health policy and quality division. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director and Director at the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, where they developed and implemented strategic initiatives in advocacy, quality of practice, and workforce pipeline and lifelong learning. Sukhjeet also oversaw the development of clinical guidelines and registries in the field of nuclear medicine. Before joining the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Dr. Ahuja served as the Director of Health Statistics & Research at NAPHSIS, where they managed collaborative projects with the CDC and represented the organization at Capitol Hill briefings. Sukhjeet also worked as a Program Manager and Coordinator at the Center for Records and Statistics and the Louisiana Office of Public Health, where they developed vital statistics systems and managed a clinical data registry. Throughout their career, Dr. Ahuja has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving public health through data-driven decision-making and policy development.

Sukhjeet Ahuja MD, MPH completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, which is equivalent to an MD, from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya. The duration of their medical education spanned from 1994 to 2000.

Afterward, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology at Tulane University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004.
