Michelle Earley

Michelle Earley currently serves as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at American Airlines since August 2024. Earley has been a member of the Board of Directors for both Murphy Oil Corporation and Adams Resources & Energy Inc since August 2021 and May 2015, respectively. Previously, Earley was a Partner at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from April 2022 to August 2024 and at Locke Lord LLP from October 1998 to April 2022, where involvement included serving on the Executive Committee and co-chairing the Diversity Committee. Earley's legal career began with a clerkship at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals from 1997 to 1998. Earley earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 1997 after obtaining a BA in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 1993.
