Emily Mueller

Emily Mueller is an experienced professional in science communication and outreach, currently serving as a Senior Scientific Outreach Manager at SciLine since November 2021, where responsibilities include connecting scientists with reporters for accurate news coverage. In addition, Emily has been a Freelance Science Writer for the American Chemical Society since January 2022, producing press releases on scientific presentations and publications. Prior roles include a Science Communication Fellow and Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, focusing on synthesizing new materials and writing articles for the Department of Chemistry. Educationally, Emily holds a PhD and MS in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a BA in Chemistry from Luther College.
