Lisa Petrides is the CEO and Founder of the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education, a position held since 2002. Additionally, Lisa serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for the San Mateo County Community College District since December 2020 and as faculty for the Association of American Colleges and Universities, where instruction focuses on open educational resources. Lisa has been a Senior Fellow at the American Leadership Forum - Silicon Valley since April 2015 and has held positions as a Professor at Columbia University, Teachers College, and a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Lisa's educational background includes a PhD in Education Policy and Management from Stanford University, an MBA in Information Science from Sonoma State University, and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
