Elizabeth Jacobs

Elizabeth Jacobs is a Nurse Practitioner at the Bariatric Medicine Institute, specializing in medically supervised weight management programs for both adults and adolescents. Elizabeth has a robust background in nursing, including primary care management for youth in juvenile justice services and work at the University of Utah Health in various nursing roles, such as Charge Nurse in nephrology and TeleHealth Registered Nurse. As an active participant in nursing education and advocacy, Elizabeth has served on multiple committees, including the Graduate Nursing Student Advocacy Leader for the State of Utah and represented the University of Utah in a clinical internship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is currently pursuing a Post-Doctoral Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of Utah.
