Shirin Samimi-Farr

Shirin Samimi-Farr has extensive experience in project management and communications within various organizations. Currently serving as a Project Manager and previously as a Project Coordinator at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) since October 2018, Shirin has effectively guided numerous projects. Prior experience includes working as a Communications Officer at the Baha'i World Centre, where responsibilities included editing extensive correspondence and conducting in-depth research on language and voice. As the Citywide Program Manager for JYSEP, Shirin led initiatives for a global youth empowerment program in New York City, focusing on staff recruitment, training, and regional communications. Additionally, Shirin was a Social Media Content Developer and Blogger for TED Conferences, contributing to social media strategies and producing content for the TED Blog. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Justice from The New School.
