Lynn Brabender

Director Of Student Success And Service Provision at American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU)

Lynn Brabender has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as a Family Planning Assistant at Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon. Lynn then worked as a Patient Services member at Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette in 2008 before becoming a Research Assistant II/Study Coordinator at OHSU from 2009 to 2010. Lynn Brabender continued their career as an Associate/Intern at Central Texas Afterschool Network in 2011 and as a Graduate Research Assistant/Consultant at The Charles A. Dana Center, University of Texas at Austin until 2012. Lynn then joined Achieve, Inc. as a Program Associate for PARCC State Engagement and Outreach from 2012 to 2013, followed by a role as a Senior Program Associate at Parcc Inc. from 2014 to 2015. Lynn Brabender had various roles at Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU), starting as a Program Manager for the Personalized Learning Consortium from 2016 to 2018. Lynn then became an Assistant Director in the Office of Urban Initiatives from 2019 to 2020, an Associate Director for the Center for Public University Transformation from 2021 to 2022, and is currently serving as the Director of Student Success and Service Provision at American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) from April 2022.

Lynn Brabender received a Masters of Public Affairs degree from The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, Lynn completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2001 to 2006.
