Patricia Murphy

Patricia Murphy has extensive experience in the field of criminal justice and education, currently serving as an Auditor for the American Correctional Association since 1999 and a Lecturer at American International College since 1998, teaching graduate courses in Criminal Justice, Forensic, and Educational Psychology. Previously, Patricia was the Assistant Superintendent at Hampden County Sheriff's Department from 2006 to 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing the opening and operations of a women's correctional center. Patricia also held the role of Assistant Deputy Superintendent at the same department from 1994 to 2006, managing operations for a correctional alcohol center. Patricia's earlier career includes serving as Principal at the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps and as a Special Education Teacher at Westfield Detention Center. Educational credentials include an EdD in Curriculum from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and multiple degrees from American International College, including an M.Ed. in Special Education and an MS in Criminal Justice.
