Zhazira Karabalayeva

Zhazira Karabalayeva is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Lead Teacher for the C5+ONE Project at American Councils for International Education since May 2023, where responsibilities include training and mentoring teachers, providing reports on project outcomes, and offering technical support for the Spark platform. Previously, Zhazira held positions as a Senior Lecturer at KBTU Kazakh British Technical University, teaching Academic English and English for the Oil and Gas Industry, and worked as a Freelance Teacher specializing in IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, and other areas from 2012 to 2023. Additional experience includes roles as an Instructor and Researcher PhD Student at Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, and various administrative positions in organizations such as Danone and the OSCE Centre in Almaty. Zhazira holds a Master's degree in Two Foreign Languages from Abylay Khan University and two Bachelor's degrees in teaching French and translation.
