Locke Raper has over twenty years of experience in business development, marketing, and operations. Locke began their career in 1997 as Director of Business Development at Turner Broadcasting International. Locke then moved to CNN Interactive in 1999, where they served as Director of Business Development. In 2000, they joined EzGov, Inc. as Director of Business Development EMEA. In 2003, they became Managing Member at Grasp LLC. Locke then joined Air America Media as Vice President of Business Development in 2005. In 2009, they founded LCR Consulting, providing operational, business development and strategic expertise as a consultant to companies with an emphasis on sustainability, energy efficiency and data driven behavior change. In 2013, they became Executive Director of Marketing at Burkhead Brand Group, managing the agency's marketing and business development efforts and leading the agency's Cleantech and Sustainable Solutions practice. In 2015, they joined WasteZero as Executive Director of Marketing. In 2018, they were appointed Director, Strategic Verticals at GridBridge, Inc. and in 2020 they became Senior Director, New Business Development at American Efficient.

Locke Raper obtained an A.B. with honors in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina (MIBS).
