Senior Director, New Business Development at EyeSee

Laura Hoste has held a variety of roles in the marketing and business development fields. In 2012, they began their career as a Marketing Intern (Sponsoring & Events) at Delhaize Belgium. In 2013, they moved to DesleeClama as a CRM Project Coordinator Europe, and in 2014 they became a CRM Project Coordinator Latin-America at the same company. That same year, they also took on the role of Internal Communication Coordinator at Delhaize Belgium. In 2016, they took a sabbatical to fulfill a lifelong dream of making a world trip, which included an 8-month overland trip through Europe, Russia, Mongolia, China, and South East Asia. In 2017, they became a Business Development Manager at the Antwerp Management School. In 2018, they joined Amoobi as VP North America, where they were responsible for launching the company's North American branch in New York, acquiring several new Fortune 500 logos, negotiating and closing 6-figure deals, creating and presenting complex data analyses, and leading marketing and communications initiatives. That same year, they were also recognized as a Prince Albert Fund Laureate. In 2021, they joined EyeSee as Senior Director of New Business Development, where they help the company scale further in North America by acquiring new logos (mostly Fortune 500) in retail, CPG, QSR, and tech.

Laura Hoste has a diverse educational background. Laura obtained their Academic Bachelor from Ghent University in Applied Language Studies (French-German-Dutch) in 2010. Laura then went on to receive their Master's degree in Global Management from the Antwerp Management School in 2014. In between, they also obtained an Advanced Master in Multilingual Business Communication (FR-ENG-DU) from Ghent University in 2012 and a Copywriting certification from Centrum voor Avondonderwijs in 2015. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications in the past two years, Business analytics - From Data To Insights from Wharton Executive Education in 2021 and Sales Growth from eCornell in 2020.
