Felycia Itza has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Investments Counsel at American Equity since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Debt Finance Associate at Goodwin from January 2022 to April 2023. Felycia then served as an Associate at Akerman LLP from November 2018 to January 2022. Before that, they held an Associate position at Fried Frank from September 2017 to November 2018. Felycia also worked as a Summer Associate at Fried Frank in 2016. Felycia gained experience as a Law Student Intern at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia from August to December 2015. Felycia also served as a Legal Fellow at the U.S. House of Representatives and worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Eloise Pasachoff at Georgetown University Law Center in 2015.

Felycia Itza completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from Boise State University between 2009 and 2013. Following that, they attended Georgetown University Law Center from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. Felycia Itza also recently acquired the Professional Research Certification from LexisNexis.
