Susan Hilsenbeck

Susan Hilsenbeck has extensive experience in the retail industry. Susan most recently served as the SVP, Project Management Officer at American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance since December 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President Global Sourcing and Inventory at the same company from March 2020 to December 2021. Before joining American Freight, Susan worked as the Vice President Global Sourcing and Inventory at Sears Outlet Stores, LLC from October 2019 to March 2020. Susan also held similar positions at Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. from August 2016 to October 2019 and at Sears Hometown & Outlet Stores Inc from October 2012 to August 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Sears Authorized Hometown Stores, LLC from February 2010 to October 2012, where they served as the Division Vice President in different roles including Merchandising and Assorting, as well as Operations and Process. Susan also gained experience at Sears Holding Company as the Director of Retail Core Compliance from February 2009 to February 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked at Sears Holdings Corporation as the Director of Stores, responsible for the Market Transformation Project from January 2008 to January 2009, and as the Director of Stores for a market in Fort Worth, TX from March 2006 to December 2007. Prior to their roles at Sears, they served as the Vice President, General Manager at Frank's Nursery & Crafts from January 1992 to May 2004.

Susan Hilsenbeck completed the Women's Senior Leadership Program at Northwestern Kellogg from 2016 to 2017. Susan also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, specifically the AMP 112 course, however, the specific start and end years for this program were not provided.
