Eve Sprunt has a diverse and extensive work experience. Eve started their career at Chevron Technology Ventures as a Venture Executive, where they analyzed potential venture capital opportunities and managed Chevron's investments in various technology and energy companies. Eve later moved on to become the Senior Technical Advisor and Advanced Energy Focus Area Manager at the same company, where they led scenario planning efforts and managed the research portfolio in non-petroleum energy technologies. Eve then transitioned to Chevron, where they served as the University Partnership and Recruiting Manager, developing philanthropic programs with selected universities worldwide and assisting in the establishment of a master's degree program in petroleum geology. Eve also worked at Chevron Energy Technology Company as an Advisor, Geological R&D and Business Development Manager, where they led research projects, resolved team conflicts, and coordinated Chevron's engagement with the MIT Energy Initiative. Additionally, Eve held leadership positions at professional organizations such as the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the American Geosciences Institute, serving as the 2006 President of SPE and the Past-President of the American Geosciences Institute. Eve has also attended the National Speakers Association Meeting as an attendee and served as a Distinguished Lecturer for the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Eve Sprunt holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Stanford University, which they earned between 1973 and 1977. Prior to that, they studied Earth and Planetary Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing both their BS and MS degrees from 1969 to 1973. Eve received their High School diploma from Los Alamos High School in 1969. Eve also attended Erasmus Hall High School from 1966 to 1968.
