Amy Austin has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Amy started their career in 2008 as part of the Summer Employment Program at Kitsap County Public Works, where they focused on road and utilities planning and maintenance. Amy then worked as a Barista/Shift Supervisor at Woods Coffee and as a PR/Event Planning Intern at WWU Journalism Dept.
In 2011, Amy joined Western Washington University as a Communication 101 Instructional Assistant and also worked as a Soccer Referee during that time. Amy later transitioned to Columbia Hospitality, where they held roles as a Lead Concierge and Conference Services Supervisor.
From 2013 to 2015, Amy worked at Era Living as a Community Relations Associate, where they were responsible for lead cultivation, marketing coordination, and implementing sales and occupancy programs.
In 2016, Amy joined the American Heart Association as a Development Coordinator/Operations Manager. Over the years, they progressed within the organization and took on roles such as Development Operations & Field Support Coordinator, Team Lead, Development Coordinator, and currently serves as the Region Business Operations Director.
In 2023, Amy started their own business, Amy Austin Photography, where they serve as the Owner.
Amy Austin earned a B.A. degree in Communication from Western Washington University between 2007 and 2011, with a focus on Communication and Psychology.
