C. Douglas Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. C. Douglas began their career at Dun and Bradstreet, where they held various roles overseeing production, R&D, and support services for the healthcare analytics unit. During their time at Thomson Reuters, they served as Vice President & General Manager and later as Vice President of Client Services, focusing on the healthcare plan sponsors market. Shaw then joined Truven Health Analytics as Senior Vice President & General Manager, where they were responsible for reviving an underperforming business unit. After that, they joined McKesson as Vice President & General Manager, tasked with improving the competitiveness and profitability of the hospital analytics business. Currently, Shaw is working at the American Hospital Association as Senior Vice President, holding roles such as Chief Operating & Development Officer of AHA Health Forum and Senior Vice President of Field Engagement. In their current role, they are responsible for strengthening the sustainability and advancing the mission of the association by implementing new market intelligence capabilities and engaging with organizational and professional members. Shaw has a track record of driving growth, profitability, and market share in challenging environments across their career.

C. Douglas Shaw received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and English Literature from the University of Chicago from 1986 to 1990. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Strategy at the New York Institute of Technology.
