Equity Early Childhood Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Flora Harmon began working as an Equity Early Childhood Researcher at the American Institutes for Research in July 2022. Prior to that, they were an Instructional Coach at the Becky Gates Children's Center from September 2018 to September 2022.

Flora Harmon, AM, has a diverse education history that spans over a decade. In 2002, they attended Abilene Christian University and completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Work in 2005. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Chicago from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Social Service Administration. Recently, from 2016 to 2021, Flora attended Texas A&M University, focusing on Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Throughout their educational journey, Flora has demonstrated a dedication to both social work and early childhood education, showcasing a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
