Garry A. Davis

Garry A. Davis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in educational policy and program management. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Assistance Consultant at the American Institutes for Research since May 2015, Garry has previously held positions as a Program Specialist at SEDL and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Ray Marshall Center for the Study of Human Resources. Key accomplishments include managing senior exit surveys for independent school districts, analyzing data for publication, and developing policy blueprints for enhancing educational outcomes. Garry also demonstrated leadership as President of the Graduate Public Affairs Council at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, advocating for student interests and managing organizational initiatives. Additional experience includes working as a National Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools and as an Operations Associate at Capital Area United Way. Garry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs, specializing in Education Policy and Workforce Development.
