Jasmine Howard

Jasmine Howard has a diverse work experience in the field of research and education. Jasmine'smost recent position is as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Rethink Ed from October 2021 to April 2022. Jasmine also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from August 2021 to April 2022.

In 2021, Jasmine had an internship as a Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research from June to August. Jasmine also worked as a Co Facilitator at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Urban Education from December 2020 to June 2021, where they assisted High Impact Black Retired Teachers in virtual after-school enrichment programs.

Jasmine's work experience also includes being a Heinz Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh from June 2020 to June 2021. In this role, they received training in Urban Education and served as a liaison between schools and families. Earlier in their career, Jasmine worked as a Research Assistant at Dr. Nina Smith's Research Enterprise on African-American Child Health and Well-Being from August 2019 to May 2020. Jasmine was also an IES RISE Fellow at the Institute of Education Sciences from May 2019 to May 2020.

Before their research and education roles, Jasmine worked as a Pizza Smith at Blaze Pizza, LLC from June 2016 to August 2019.

Jasmine Howard holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology at North Carolina Central University from 2016 to 2020.
