Senior Human Capital Partner at American Institutes for Research

Jessica Cole has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jessica began their career as an Account Representative at Advantage Technical Resourcing in 2005, where they demonstrated strong communication skills and quickly familiarized herself with the company's computer system. After working there for two years, they joined DAI as an International Recruiter in 2008. In this role, they participated in full-cycle recruitment for DAI proposals for USAID in various countries, including conducting candidate searches, negotiating salaries, and developing candidate tables for technical proposals. Jessica then transitioned to IREX in 2011, taking on the role of International Development Recruiter, where they contributed to full-cycle recruitment for IREX proposals across different regions and divisions. Finally, since 2016, they have been working at the American Institutes for Research, initially as a Human Capital Partner and later as a Senior Human Capital Partner. In this position, they serve as a point of contact for managers on employee relations matters, coordinates human resources actions, and ensures compliance with local labor laws by updating and maintaining field HR manuals.

Jessica Cole completed their Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology at Guilford College from 2003 to 2005. Jessica then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in International Development and Education at the University of East Anglia, which was completed from 2007 to 2008.
