Following that, they completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Community Organization and Social Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2008. In 2013, Katie pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Health Care Organization and Policy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Additionally, they studied Spanish Language and Literature at York College of Pennsylvania for a year in 2002-2003, although they did not receive a formal degree in this field.
