Following that, they completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Community Organization and Social Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2008. In 2013, Katie pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Health Care Organization and Policy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
