Patricia Campie

Principal Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Patricia Campie, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the fields of justice, child welfare, and youth development. Patricia is currently working as a Principal Researcher at the American Institutes for Research, where they lead multi-site community-based research, evaluation, and technical assistance initiatives. Patricia has been studying the impacts of Massachusetts' statewide gang intervention initiative since 2013. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director at the National Center for Juvenile Justice from 2008 to 2012. Patricia also held the role of Executive Director at LeCroy & Milligan Associates in 2007. From 1999 to 2007, they worked as an Instructor at the University of Arizona. Patricia also served as the Director of Research and Evaluation at Pima Prevention Partnership from 2003 to 2007.

Patricia Campie, Ph.D., obtained their Ph.D. in Criminal Justice Policy and Law from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
