Sebastien Barthelemy, CCISO, ITIL, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Currently, they hold the position of Senior IT Director and Chief of CyberSecurity (CISO) at American Iron & Metal (AIM), a world leader in recycling. In this role, Sebastien is responsible for leading technology solutions, infrastructure, and cybersecurity across 130 sites worldwide, supervising a team of 70 employees and managing a substantial budget.

Prior to their current role, Sebastien served as the CIO and CISO at Gecko Alliance, a leading manufacturer of SPA components, where they oversaw technology strategy, digital transformation, and cybersecurity initiatives for 2 divisions with 5 locations in North America. Before that, they held the position of CTO and CISO at Néomédia, where they led the digital and technological innovation strategy, supervised a team of 10 professionals, and managed a strategic budget of $1M.

Sebastien Barthelemy, CCISO, ITIL, has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. Sebastien obtained a Certification Cisco CCNA from SUPINFO in 2010, focusing on the networking of computer systems and telecommunications. In 2009, Sebastien completed their Informatique Engineer degree with an option in Information Systems from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.

Prior to that, in 2003, they earned a BTS Informatique Industrielle with an option in Réseau/Télécom from Institution Saint Joseph, Nancy, specializing in computer technology and systems. Sebastien also holds a Baccalauréat STI with an option in Génie Électronique from the same institution, acquired in 2001, which provided a foundation in electrical and electronic engineering.

Over the years, Sebastien has pursued various certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2007, they became a Zend Ingénieur Certifié from Alterway. In 2017, Sebastien obtained the ITIL Foundation v3 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, further solidifying their knowledge in IT service management.

Sebastien added to their credentials by gaining further certifications, including being a Certified Chief Information Security Officer from EC-Council in 2023. Sebastien also obtained the COBIT 2019 certification from ISACA in 2022.
