Thierry Bergem

Thierry Bergem has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thierry is currently working as the Corporate Director of Asset Management at American Iron & Metal (AIM) since 2022. Before that, they held the position of Independent Strategy, Project Management, and Operations Senior Director in Private Equity (PE) / Venture Capital from 2016.

In 2018, Thierry worked as the Head of Strategic Projects in the corporate strategy division at BOMBARDIER Transportation. Thierry'sresponsibilities included overseeing strategic projects in the rail vehicle and equipment manufacturing industry.

Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations at OXAND from 2015 to 2016, where they focused on risk, project, and asset management in Eastern Canada. Thierry also served as the Deputy Director EI at SNC Lavalin from 2012 to 2015, handling various roles such as project management, bid preparation, and financial modeling for large infrastructure and transportation projects.

Thierry's earlier work experience includes a senior consultant position at Procter & Gamble in 2011, operation manager role at AREED - Association Reseau Expert Environnement Developpement - NGO from 2009 to 2011, and field segment manager/project manager roles at Schlumberger from 2005 to 2009. Thierry began their career as a junior engineer at Saipem in 2004.

Thierry Bergem's education history begins in 2002 when they enrolled at the Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie. Thierry pursued a Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in International Project Management, completing their degree in 2005. Following this, Thierry attended Hult International Business School from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained their MBA with a concentration in Strategy and Negotiations. In the same year, they also attended a Strategic Management Class at Harvard University.
