Karen Hammerness

Karen Hammerness, a senior educational research director, has a Ph.D. in Psychological Studies in Education from Stanford University. Karen has held positions at the American Museum of Natural History and the University of Oslo, where Karen also served as a visiting associate professor. Additionally, Karen has experience as an associate professor and director of program research at Bard College's Master of Arts in Teaching Program. Hammerness also holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Teaching of English from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Literature from Middlebury College.
