Emma Dewey

Emma Dewey is a highly skilled professional with diverse experience in research, healthcare, and community relations. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Indiana Wesleyan University since January 2017, Emma conducts research in Dr. Matthew Sattley’s lab. In addition, Emma has contributed as the Student Alumni Association Vice President of Community Relations, fostering connections between students, alumni, and the broader community through event organization. Emma's background includes roles as a STEM Tutor and Lab Teaching Assistant, providing academic support in various scientific disciplines. At American Senior Communities, Emma has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, assisting patients with daily living activities and ensuring their safety. Previous experience also includes working as a waitress and host at Chuy's Restaurants and as an Administrative Assistant at Heartland Church. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology Pre-Med from Indiana Wesleyan University, earned in 2020.
