Joseph G. Keary

Joseph G. Keary, MS, MBA, serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the Council of Laboratory Management & Administration at the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) since October 2023, following a tenure as Chair. Joseph has extensive experience in laboratory management, including positions as System Director of Laboratory Services at Arnot Health and leadership roles within the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA). Currently a Doctoral Candidate at Central Michigan University, Joseph has a robust educational background with multiple degrees, including an MBA from West Chester University and an MS in Microbiology & Immunology from New York Medical College. Prior military experience includes serving as Chief Medical Technologist and Laboratory Manager at the US Army Medical Department and Department of Veterans Affairs. Throughout a career marked by leadership and volunteerism, Joseph has contributed significantly to the field of laboratory management and education.
